ABOUT JENNA
Over the past decade, I’ve had the joy of documenting wedding weekends across the globe—creating imagery that’s both compositionally striking and emotionally alive.
I’m honored to have been named one of the top 5 wedding photographers in Arizona by Wezoree, with work featured in BRIDES, Style Me Pretty, The Knot, and more.
But beyond the camera, I’m also a poet.
Writing is my way of noticing—of distilling emotion and holding onto meaning. That rhythm of reflection informs everything I do behind the lens.
Because to me, photography and poetry aren’t so different.
They both ask us to look again—
to find the story in the stillness
and to translate the feeling of a fleeting moment into something we can keep.

What does it mean for a photo to be poetic?
It's a nice little phrase, and at some point I started using it to describe my favorite images.
Like how poetry tries to name something,
but straightforward, literal words
don't seem to do it justice.
Just like poems, poetic photos
take a moment,
and then abstract it slightly.
Because to capture it exactly would be to miss something.
It’s about the feeling. the essence.
Maybe through color, or blur, or focus.
Or in the way a photo draws your attention to
one tiny detail,
like one quiet line in a larger piece
begging you to stop,
and really notice it.
I want your photos to feel poetic.
I want them to feel alive & moving.
Because I guess,
I hope your photos do for you
what a good poem does for me —
offers me its hand
and the gentle invitation to
pause
feel
remember
notice —
the ability to experience it all again
if only for a moment.
